My Practice
As a clinical psychologist, I work with individuals who are navigating difficult life transitions (estrangement, grief/loss, relationship breakups, job changes, retirement) as well as those with more substantial mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. My primary area of expertise is in treating anxiety disorders of all kinds, including chronic worry, phobias, panic, medical anxiety, social anxiety, and OCD. I also have advanced training in insomnia (CBT-I), bereavement, chronic pain, and family estrangement.
Therapy can involve turning towards the difficult aspects of our experience, but I believe the process can be approached with curiosity, compassion, and even humor. I bring warmth and strong listening skills to all of my client interactions, and I work hard to create an atmosphere of safety and trust to explore the parts of your life that feel the most challenging. My clients can expect me to be an active participant in session, and my goal is for clients to leave each meeting with helpful education and/or practical skills to apply between sessions.
I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults age 15 and up. I am able to see clients in person at Rock Riffle Wellness or online via a secure telehealth platform.
